to ancient documents, Vieng is not a specific place-name in Nam Dinh province.
It was similarly pronounced like “Going Home” in Vietnamese meaning. The name
of the market is a tender way to remind anyone who lives out in the country:
Going home on the traditional Tet holiday. It is time to reunite people
together again after a hard working year. Vieng market-day together with Tet
Holiday – the biggest and most important event with Vietnamese people is time
